The mission of the Performing Arts School
of Worcester, Inc., is to expand and enhance the cultural opportunities
of all people, diverse individual and group instruction in music,
dance, and theatre arts, within an organizational environment
that honors every person.
We accomplish our mission by providing high quality instruction in dance, music,
theatre, and outreach programs for underserved populations that reflect our rich
ethnic cultures and remove socio-economic barriers that deny access to the performing
arts. We strive for excellence and to be a responsible cultural and educational
leader in Central Massachusetts and the world, and to be deeply committed to
an inclusive sense of community. We actively seek partnerships with organizations
devoted to similar goals and visions.
The Performing Arts School of Worcester is a member of The National Guild of
Community Schools and is funded in part by The Worcester Cultural Commission,
The Massachusetts Cultural Council, and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. |
