The Dance Division aims to meet the needs of all students, from
the beginner to the serious and talented individual who wants
to pursue dance as a career. Classes are offered in Creative
Movement for the youngest children, and the ballet curriculum
includes two children's levels and four levels for more advanced
students. In addition, the School also offers Modern Dance
and Hip Hop.
Excellence in dance education is the focus of the PASOW
dance program. Through serious study in technique and artistry, students can
advance through the curriculum, ultimately to become a member of the Worcester
Youth Ballet, the performing company of PASOW. The exceptional faculty provides
students with caring guidance and sophisticated knowledge and training, while
teaching the lessons of discipline, commitment, and teamwork. The goal is for
each student to reach her or his own highest level of excellence.
Three
spacious and well-equipped dance studios and a 130-seat studio theater provide
students with
a place to develop technique and explore artistry all
in an environment of learning that is filled with the glorious
sounds of the study of music, voice, theatre, and dance.
