Children's
Program
Designed for the youngest students, these classes stress the development of coordination
and motor skills, rhythm and musical awareness, spatial awareness, listening
skills, and creative expression. They also introduce the youngest students to
pre-ballet technique.
Creative Movement for ages 4-5, two 60 minute classes/week.
Children I for ages 5-6, one 90 minute class/week.
Children II (Pre-Ballet) for ages 6-7, two 90 minute classes/week.
Ballet Program
A comprehensive training program following
a four-level program to develop physical alignment and technique,
strength and flexibility, musicality, and performance quality.
Advancement through the program is based on a student's level
of attendance, mastery of skills, dedication, and accomplishment,
not on his or her age. Students may expect to spend two years
mastering their art in each of the four levels offered:
Ballet Level A - basic
Ballet Level B - beginners
Ballet Level C - intermediate
Ballet Level D - advanced
Students who enroll at any level are
required to attend all classes in that level. School attendance
and make up policies apply.
Jazz
Dance
Students learn multiple jazz techniques and
styles with exciting combinations and routines to develop
musicality,
coordination, and movement dynamics. PASOW
offers Jazz and Hip Hop classes.
Modern Dance
These
classes explore techniques of the great Modern Dance masters.
The study of composition and improvisation further develop
the dancer's choreographic
creativity and imagination. PASOW offers Beginning and Advanced Modern
dance classes.

These
classes are designed exclusively for adults.
Summer
Program
Students receive three classes daily, including:
Ballet technique, Pointe & Variation
(Level 2), Stretching and Strengthening, and other dance forms.
Worcester Youth
Ballet (WYB)
The Worcester Youth Ballet is the performing company of the School. Presenting
both classical and contemporary works by resident and guest choreographers,
several performances are given throughout the year. WYB consists of both a
Senior and Junior company for students enrolled in advanced levels C and D.
Student auditions are judged on both technical strength and performing ability.  |
