All persons entering the building MUST enter through the doors at 29 High Street and stop at the front desk to identify themselves when they enter the School. ALL students must sign in before entering the School's classrooms. In order to ensure student safety and building security, all others (unless they are faculty, staff, or volunteers who have had a CORI Criminal Background check) must wait in the lobby.

Pick Up Times
ALL parents MUST arrive to pick up their children no later than the scheduled end of class time and no later than scheduled building closing times. A fee of $50 per quarter hour will be assessed for families who arrive later than the end of building closing times to pick up students. Please be on time.

Attendance
The School must be notified of any student or faculty absence no later than 10a.m. on the day of the lesson. Unexcused absences will NOT be made up. Only ONE excused absence per student will be allowed per semester. One make up week at the end of the semester is designated for make up lessons. Make ups may not be scheduled at any other time. Students must attend their scheduled make up class or forfeit the make up class. Faculty must make up all classes they miss.

Parking
Parking is available in the lot in front of the School for a nominal hourly fee or on the street at public meters. There is no parking fee for anyone stopping briefly at the School door to drop off or to pick up a student. School visitors are asked not to park in any reserved space and to cooperate with parking attendants at all times.

Cancellations
Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or other unforeseeable circumstances will be made up during make up week at the end of the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters ONLY. PASOW will announce School closings on WTAG 580 AM and will post a sign on the front door of the School to notify students and families. In the case of teacher illness, we will contact the student or family in advance of class. Students and parents are encouraged to contact PASOW for information about School closings during bad weather. The School will make up all classes it cancels due to inclement weather or other unforeseeable circumstances at no extra charge.

Standard of Behavior
All faculty, students, staff, volunteers, parents, and visitors are expected to behave in a courteous, lawful manner while at the School or its performance sites and to observe School policies as outlined at all times. No horseplay, unauthorized interruption of classes, aggressive behavior or speech, sexually offensive behavior, theft, vandalism, smoking, use of alcohol or drugs, littering on or around the School building or property, or unauthorized use of the School building or property will be tolerated. Any person who does not observe this standard will be asked to leave the premises. Any student, volunteer, or staff person who breaks these roles more than once may be asked to leave the School permanently.
All faculty, staff, and volunteers must undergo a CORl, or Criminal Background check, to be approved for work in the School building or at School performances.

Class Observation Week
Parents may observe classes ONLY during Class Observation Week, which is the last week of classes during the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters. All parents/guardians wishing to observe classes must contact the appropriate Division Director (Dance, Music, or Theatre) or Executive Director to schedule time to watch a specific class. Filming or photography of any kind is not allowed during any class. Exceptions to the observation policies are the Suzuki violin and fiddle programs, in which parents often are required to attend class witb their child. Parents or guardians of students with disabilities are encouraged to contact the appropriate Division Director (Dance, Music, or Theatre) or the Executive Director discuss special needs.

No parent or other person may interrupt, film, or photograph any class at any time, as it interferes with the educational process and in some cases can cause injury to faculty and students. Should you have an emergency or a medical reason for needing to observe or interrupt your child's class, please contact the Registrar, the appropriate Division Director, or the Executive Director.

Parents, volunteers, and visitors are invited and encouraged to attend all scheduled School performances ín order to observe their child's progress. Flash photography and filming with lights is prohibited at performances to ensure the safety and comfort of performers.
